I love rancid!!!! I'd say they're my favourite band at the moment, their songs are so catchy. If you're interested in getting into punk rock then I recommend listening to them. I like a bunch of genres but I'd say punk is my favourite type of music, so you'll see a few other punk bands here.
Songs I recommend: Time Bomb, Roots Radical, Salvation, Radio
Another well-known punk band, you should check them out if you haven't heard of them, unless you don't like this kind of music, I guess. I like listening to their songs in the shower or when I'm drawing. I can't listen to them in public because everyone hates my music taste, I wonder why...
Songs I recommend: Too Drunk to Fuck, Police Truck, Holiday in Cambodia, I Fought the Law
Oh wow, more punk. I'd say this band is a bit more chill than the previous one, or maybe I'm just used to listening to garbage at this point. I love drawing Milo!!!!
Songs I recommend: Good Good Things, Suburban Home, Pervert, Myage
The first punk band I ever listened to!! I still remember it, I was around 12 years old and we were reading a book at school about the Argentine dictatorship and The Malvinas War (really cool book, actually. It's called "rompecabezas") and it had a few songs from that time period, one of them was "London Calling" by The Clash. I was amazed when I heard it for the first time, I had never listened to anything similar before.
Songs I recommend: London Calling, Should I Stay or Should I Go, I Fought the Law, White Riot
This one isn't a band but a musician, he was one of the first hispanic singers I liked. I think it's important to listen to artists from your own country, especially the ones who sing openly about the problems that the country is going through. He's a great singer and a great person too, in my opinion. He was in many bands, including Sui Genesis, Serú Girán, and La Máquina de Hacer Pájaros. Fun fact: he jumped from a hotel's ninth floor into a pool.
Songs I recommend: No Me Dejan Salir, Fanky, Demoliendo Hoteles, No Bombardeen Buenos Aires, Los Dinosaurios, Cerca De La Revolución
Classic, beautiful, and timeless. Perfect for any mood. It has upbeat songs and depressive ones too. It was my father's favourite band, maybe that's why I like it so much. I love Jim Morrison too. I have a flag in my room with his face on it, it belonged to my dad, now it's mine and I love it. And I have a comic book about Jim Morrison's life, it's pretty cool.
Songs I recommend: People Are Strange, The Crystal Ship, Roadhouse Blues, Riders on The Storm, Soul Kitchen
I'll be honest, I don't know much about them. I remember I listened to their music on shuffle for a whole day and I absolutely loved it, but I forgot to save most of the songs to my playlist. I feel like I should listen to them some more, they have an interesting sound.
Songs I recommend: Give Me The Cure, Waiting Room, Bad Mouth, Burning
Like I said, I listen to basically everything. I feel like Iron Maiden is one of those bands only forty year old divorced men listen to, but whatever, I like them and I went to see them live last year (well, last year when I'm typing this, but it was on December 2024)
Songs I recommend: Fear of The Dark, The Number of The Beast, Where Eagles Dare, The Trooper
Korn!!!! my mom absolutely HATES them. She hates all nu metal bands, lol. But I like them, I like Johnathan Davis. I discovered Korn because of that dumb South Park episode where they're a parody of Scooby Doo, I thought they were cool so I started listening to their music. Probably one of the best decisions of my life
Songs I recommend: Ball Tongue, Good God, Freak On a Leash, All In The Family, Blind
MEGADETH AGUANTE MEGADETH!!! lml. Of course I went to see them live last year too, it was epic!!!! I could see Dave's bald spot from my seat!!!! 10/10 experience, and it was my first concert ever, I absolutely loved it.
Songs I recommend: In My Darkest Hour, Peace Sells, Symphony of Destruction, Sweating Bullets, Back In the Day
Really popular Argentine band, I love their songs. Most people say they're overrated or too normie or whatever, but I think they're nice. I like recommending stuff from my country, I'm really proud of our art, and I think this band is worth listening to even if you don't understand Spanish.
Songs I recommend: En la Ciudad de la Furia, Entre Caníbales, Persiana Americana, De Música Ligera
Another one of the first bands I listened to when I was getting into punk. Their songs are nice and super catchy, I think they're "safe" to play with other people around without getting weird looks. I'm actually wearing a Ramones t-shirt as I'm typing this lol.
Songs I recommend: Pet Sematary, Wart Hog, Poison Heart, Needles and Pins, I Wanna Be Sedated, Sheena Is a Punk Rocker
Ohh god, I've been listening to them a lot recently. I don't know why, I'm just in the mood for those slow and calm cheesy "love" songs. Did you know most of their songs are misinterpreted? They're about obsession but people think they're about love. If you pay attention to some of the lyrics you'll notice how wrong the things they say are. And I like that, I like songs about weird topics like obsession that are masked as love songs.
Songs I recommend: Can't Stand Losing You, Every Breath You Take, Roxanne, Every Single Thing She Does Is Magic, Message in a bottle
METALLICAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!! ohhh I love them so much, definitely one of my favourite bands. Yeah, call them sellouts, say Lars is a shitty drummer, I don't careeee. I love them. I listened to them for the first time with my dad when he was at the hospital, it was one of his favourite bands too, and I had never listened to metal music before that day, I was amazed. I really really like them.
Songs I recommend: Whiplash, Sad But True, Nothing Else Matters, Ride The Lightning, Creeping Death, My Friend of Misery
I love misfits! Fun fact, I absolutely hated them the first time I listened to their music lol. Apparently I've changed, I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I started listening to Danzig too and I like some songs but I prefer Misfits.
Songs I recommend: Speak of The Devil, Attitude, Static Age, Some Kinda Hate, Hybrid Moments, Dig Up Her Bones
ughhdgkhduhlsg I'm just getting into this band, I'm new gen!!!! But I really like them, a friend of mine recommended them to me. (I love you Jackie :3)
Songs I recommend: Santeria, Seed, Wrong Way
